After resettling over 40 families and families and individuals in Taranaki, Michelle has an extensive network of contacts and local knowledge. Originally from Sydney, Australia, Michelle relocated to New Plymouth with her Kiwi husband eighteen years ago. Prior to that she travelled extensively for both work and pleasure, living in Singapore, London, Scotland, Hong Kong and Israel. Now with three teenage sons, the family has continued the overseas adventures, most recently spending time in Fiji with the boys attending a local school – a real eye-opener to the ups and downs of being immersed in completely different culture.
With a background in call centre management, Michelle has a passion for excellent customer service. Her clients rave about her local knowledge, attention to detail and commitment to ensuring that every resettlement is a positive experience. She is now also applying these skills as a liaison officer at the Taranaki community radio station (and broadcasting the shows on the side.)
‘I love living in the laid-back yet surprisingly cosmopolitan city of New Plymouth. It is a special place, and I’m keen to help you feel at home and become as enthusiastic about living here as I am.’
